Suquamish is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. The population was 4,140 at the 2010 census. Located within the Port Madison Indian Reservation, it is the burial site of Chief Seattle and the site of the Suquamish tribe winter longhouse known as Old Man House. ==Geography== Suquamish is located at (47.730901, -122.564456) just north of Bainbridge Island. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.5 square miles (19.3 km2), of which 6.8 square miles (17.7 km2) is land and 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2) (8.43%) is water.
